Background: Worked in private business for 50 years as a portrait studio owner; currently employed with Hammock Realty.

Education: He is a graduate of Toccoa High School, and went on to earn his degree from the University of Georgia.

Previous political experience: Served previous term on the Toccoa City Commission; held a seat on the Downtown Development Authority, and held a seat on the city's Alcohol Beverage Control Board.
